Cari-Ann Knight, candidate for State Representative in the 3rd Worcester District

Cari-Ann Knight — Psychiatric Registered Nurse and 44-year Fitchburg resident

150 write-in votes puts her on the November ballot

That is the entire threshold. Not 150 thousand — 150 neighbors who show up for the Republican primary on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 and take ten seconds to write her name. Clear that bar and she appears on the general election ballot in November. One street, one church parking lot, one group chat can decide this. Tell five people.

The only thing that matters

How to write in Cari-Ann Knight

A write-in vote only counts if it is filled out correctly. Four steps, ten seconds. Bring this page with you.

  1. Pull a Republican ballot

Massachusetts primaries are open to unenrolled voters. If you are registered as unenrolled, you may simply ask for the Republican ballot. Registered Democrats cannot.

  2. Find the write-in line

Look for "Representative in General Court, 3rd Worcester District." Below the printed names there is a blank line marked for write-in votes.

  3. Write her name and city

Print CARI-ANN KNIGHT, FITCHBURG clearly on the blank line. Include Fitchburg — the city of residence identifies the candidate, so write it every time.

  4. Fill in the oval

This is the step people forget. Fill in the oval or box next to the write-in line, or your vote may not be counted. Then cast your ballot.

Where she stands

Key priorities for our district

A concrete legislative plan for Fitchburg and Lunenburg — not slogans, but the specific fights she intends to pick on Beacon Hill.

Mental health & recovery

As a psychiatric RN, Cari-Ann sees the gaps in our system every day. She will fight to redirect state funding away from bloated bureaucratic programs and into local, front-line mental health treatment, adolescent psychiatric care, and long-term substance use recovery centers right here in Worcester County.

Lowering utility bills

Extreme climate mandates are driving utility bills through the roof and threatening grid reliability. She will advocate for a common-sense energy portfolio — clean, reliable, and affordable, including modern natural gas and nuclear innovation — to lower costs for local families and small businesses.

Safe neighborhoods

Back local law enforcement, curb the gang violence and drug trade damaging our streets, and keep decisions about safety in Fitchburg and Lunenburg with the people who actually live here.

Affordability

Families here are working harder and keeping less. Cari-Ann will fight the taxes, fees, and rising rents squeezing household budgets, and push back on mandates that arrive with a bill attached to your home.

About the candidate

Meet Cari-Ann Knight of Fitchburg

Psychiatric Registered Nurse
Write-in candidate
Representative in General Court
3rd Worcester District

Fitchburg has been Cari-Ann Knight's home for 44 years. She loves this community, but like many of her neighbors she has watched its decline — a rising homelessness crisis, drug epidemics, gang activity, and spiking poverty. She believes that decline is driven by economic hardship and, above all, a severe lack of leadership in our state government.

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, she does not watch these problems from a distance. She works them on the front lines every single day. That frontline medical experience is exactly what our community's recovery requires, and her faith is what calls her to serve.

As a conservative, her life and her worldview rest on three unshakeable pillars: Faith, Freedom, and Family. She will consistently vote to protect personal freedoms, back the law enforcement officers working to eliminate gang violence, and champion policies that strengthen families.

She is running as a write-in candidate, which means no party machine and no printed line on the ballot — only the voters who decide she is worth ten seconds of their time. It is time for a representative who actually lives your reality, shares your core values, and understands our community's pain.

“Let's bring faith-driven, common-sense leadership back to Fitchburg and Lunenburg.”
